Hello There!

I'm Angel Stroud and I am a professional newborn, child, and family photographer living in Kolin, Louisiana. I've been doing photography for almost 12 years. In August 2018, I ventured out and opened my studio and began specializing in newborn and studio photography. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me spending time with my husband Josh and our two kiddos - Oakley and Maisyn! We love adventures and being outdoors. I'm coffee and plant obsessed. There’s never a dull moment in our house!

I graduated from Louisiana State University of Alexandria with a degree in Mass Communications. I've worked jobs ranging from television station, radio, to marketing and graphic design companies. In 2014 I decided to pursue photography as my full-time job.

WHY I LOVE BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER...

One of the biggest perks of being a newborn photographer is getting to work with tiny, innocent babies. Many people find newborns to be incredibly endearing, with their soft skin, chubby cheeks, and tiny fingers and toes. As a photographer, I have the opportunity to capture all of these sweet details and create stunning images that parents will treasure for years to come. In addition to the joy and memories that come with photography, there is also the challenge of capturing a child's personality in a single image. Children are often unpredictable and can be difficult to work with, but this challenge is part of what makes studio photography so rewarding. By creating a fun and relaxed environment, I'm able to capture the unique quirks and personalities of each child I work with, resulting in images that truly capture the essence of who they are.
